The Institute of Management Technology is
located in Dubai International Academic City and was founded in 2006.
IMT offers an accredited MBA program as well as Executive education to companies
operating in the UAE. One of the main advantages of the
2 year MBA Program at IMT is its strong Industry interface achieved through the
Internship Program, the Company Project and the continuous interaction with the
industry. The MBA Program at IMT, Dubai combines rigorous classroom education
with continuous application of the learned skills to real business situations.
The extent and the strength of IMT’s links to the corporate world sets the
university apart and gives us a strong academic advantage. These links are
fostered by three main tools: the first-year Internships, the second-year
Company Project, and the ongoing interaction with the corporate environment. |

Dubai |

Dubai is one of the
seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE),
and one of the country's main cities, sometimes
called "Dubai City" to distinguish it from the
emirate. Dubai is situated on the Arabian Gulf coast
of the United Arab Emirates and is roughly at sea
level.
Dubai is
considered to be an important tourist destination
and its port, Jebel Ali, constructed in the 1970s,
has the largest man-made harbor in the world. Dubai
is also increasingly developing as a hub for service
industries such as IT and finance, with the
establishment of a new Dubai International Financial
Centre (DIFC). The government has set up
industry-specific free zones throughout the city.
Dubai Internet City, combined with Dubai Media City
as part of TECOM (Dubai Technology, Electronic
Commerce and Media Free Zone Authority) is one such
enclave whose members include IT firms such as EMC
Corporation, Oracle Corporation, Microsoft, and IBM,
and media organisations such as MBC, CNN, Reuters
and AP.
